I love being at home. There are so many happy things to do there. If you visited me this is probably what you would find or where I would take you.
The Uselessness of Food and Drink - Everything from potato bazookas to Japanese pizza
Mimi's CyberKitchen - The ultimate website for food and friendship
Godiva - Let's fact it folks, this is where all the good stuff is!
Virtual Pizza - Create your own pizza on-line
Mind Harp Loves Casseroles - My hubby and I love casseroles!
Pasta - Hasta la Pasta Everybody!
Rhododendrons - One of the most beautiful flower pages on the web
Huntington Library - Close to where I work and live, I try to walk inside the gardens there everyday. A little heaven on earth.
Buchart Gardens - My very favorite place in the whole wide world. Visit the Sunken Garden for serenity and if you visit the Rose Garden you will see a gazing ball just like the one in our little garden.
Rubber Stamps - This subject deserves its very own MindHarp page. Enter at your own risk (and be careful opening any of our cupboards!)
Dept. 56 - Our home has become a virtual Dept. 56 showcase. We have Dept. 56 houses up all year round.
In Summer we recreate a mountain resort scene with the Fisherman Nook Lodge, cabins, marshmallows round the campfire, and of course lots of pine trees.
In Fall we put up the New England village with fall-colored trees. John's favorite! He picked out most of the pieces and decides where they are to go.
In Winter we put up the Alpine Village (MindHarp's favorite), with backdrop mountains. The kitchen gets a farmland Snow Village with barn, cows, farmhouse, and a greenhouse just like MindHarp's great grandmother used to have. The lighted trees go inside the North Pole Village up high somewhere.
All year round MindHarp has the Coca-Cola bottling plant and figures in the kitchen and John has the Dickens village in and among all his beautiful books in all our bookcases.
Uh oh. From the foregoing it looks like there will soon be a separate MindHarp Dept. 56 page! Watch out!
